KIDUCTIONS ORIGINAL PITCH!

This is Kiductions original pitch

Hi I’m Phoebe
and I'm Joe we are really excited to be here today!

Right do you know any kids who sit around all day on the computer? Well you’re in luck as we know how to get their creative minds active and they can still use their computer!

Our business is called “Kiductions.com” - this is a fun website which is specifically for kids, this website reaches out to kids between 8-16 to “Create, Share and Enjoy” (this is our motto)

On this website kids can publish their own short movies in which other users can view and leave a like and comment.

On “kiductions.com” kids can buy a reasonable priced membership to access more on the website as our free membership doesn't let you publish movies.

Many people may believe that this website is like another “Video Sharing” website where you can only post up to 15minute videos, on our website however, our unique selling point is that its only for kids, you can post longer videos and its danger free.

By using the latest malware safety software, we can protect the website from hackers and the cyber danger issues.

The kids (with the right membership) can enter competitions based on different genres e.g. a horror competition.

If they win they receive a membership and a prize to help with their movie making. We hope to get film and tv companies interested in sponsoring the competitions with prizes!

Talent shows seek to find new talent in-front of camera, what “kiductions.com” does is find the talent behind the camera!

If we receive the years worth of pocket money we would use it to create the website, buy a domain name and website hosting.
We would pay regularly every 6months at the cost of £40 for the hosting and £60 for the web design, we will hopefully make a profit from memberships and merchandise.

We reckon around 30,000 kids in the UK could be using “kiductions.com”
We worked this out because there is around 30 children in our school we know who are into film making, times that by 1,000 (approximately the amount of schools in the UK) and we get 30,000! Then imagine if it went worldwide!

We hope you have enjoyed, we believe this could be a great success! We may even find the next Stephen Spielberg!
